David Kordansky Gallery in New York will host 'An American Beauty: Grateful Dead 1965–1995,' a photography exhibition curated by Ricki and Jay Blakesberg. The exhibition is scheduled to run from June 23 to August 7, 2026, at the gallery's 520 W. 20th St. location.

The presentation chronicles the three-decade span of the Grateful Dead, featuring a selection of photographic prints by eleven contributing artists. Jay Blakesberg is joined by Adrian Boot, Suki Coughlin, Greg Gaar, Andy Leonard, Rosie McGee, Bob Minkin, Ron Rakow, Jon Sievert, Elizabeth Sunflower, and Kirk West. These archival giclée prints offer visual documentation of the band's trajectory.

This exhibition offers an examination of the Grateful Dead's impact on American culture and music history through the lens of those who documented it. The photographic works aim to provide insight into the band's influential period from its formation to its final years.
