David Kordansky Gallery Announces Summer 2026 Exhibitions and Art Basel Presence

David Kordansky Gallery has announced its upcoming summer programming, featuring the group exhibition 'Tom’s Stretch' and a solo presentation of new works by Moka Lee, titled 'Persona Works'. Both exhibitions are scheduled to open on July 10, 2026, running through August 22, 2026, at the gallery’s Los Angeles location.

The group exhibition 'Tom’s Stretch' centers on the visual language of queer desire, positioning Tom of Finland as a pivotal figure and legacy. It features a diverse selection of drawings and paintings by a broad range of artists whose practices engage with themes of the figure and contemporary art, including Matthew Barney, Robert Gober, Robert Mapplethorpe, Cindy Sherman, and Salman Toor, among others.

Concurrently, Moka Lee’s 'Persona Works' will showcase new paintings, utilizing oil on cotton and 'digital gloss' to explore figure-centric portraits and still lifes. Lee’s work engages with modern notions of visual language and personal identity through these mediums.

In addition to its Los Angeles program, David Kordansky Gallery will participate in Art Basel in Switzerland. The gallery’s presentation will be on view from June 16 to June 17, 2026, for VIP preview days, followed by public access from June 18 to June 21, 2026, at Messe Basel.
