The National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Korea (MMCA), has announced a significant solo exhibition by British artist Damien Hirst, scheduled to open on March 20, 2026. Titled "Damien Hirst: Nothing Is True But Everything Is Possible," the comprehensive show will be presented at MMCA Seoul and will conclude on June 28, 2026.
Hirst, a prominent figure among the Young British Artists (YBA), is recognized for his challenging works that often explore themes of life, death, religion, and science. His practice has consistently engaged with the intersection of art and broader cultural discourses, influencing the contemporary art landscape since the late 20th century.
The exhibition is expected to feature a broad spectrum of Hirst's artistic output, encompassing his notable installations, painting, sculpture, photography, and collage. This selection will demonstrate his conceptual approach across various media, including mixed media works.
