Damien Hirst, Love Affair (2001), sold for $429,100 (GBP320,000), more than the low estimate at Sotheby's in London on March 4.

The sale was below the previous auction result by $1.85m, realizing a 81% negative return. It last sold at auction in 2007 for $2.28m at Phillips de Pury.
