Damien Hirst, Diethylene Glycol (2006), sold for $409,600 (GBP307,200), more than the low estimate at Sotheby's in London on March 5.

The sale was below the previous auction result by $884,000, realizing a 68% negative return. It last sold at auction in 2007 for $1.29m at Phillips de Pury.
