The Contemporary Arts Museum Houston (CAMH) has detailed its cultural offerings for June 2026, located at 5216 Montrose Boulevard in Houston, Texas. The month's calendar includes significant exhibitions by Mary Ellen Carroll and Mario Ayala, alongside film screenings, live performances, and art-making workshops.
Among the featured exhibitions is Mary Ellen Carroll: How To Talk Dirty and Influence People, showcasing her multi-layered artistic practice. Concurrently, Mario Ayala: Seven Vans presents the artist's distinctive approach, which incorporates airbrushed van canvases. Both exhibitions are on view throughout June.
Complementing the visual arts program, CAMH will host a series of events. The CAMH Cinema Club will present a screening of a film by Jafar Panahi, with doors opening at 6PM and the film commencing at 6:30PM. A performance by David Dove and The Nameless Sound Ensemble is also scheduled for June 21, 2026.
Furthermore, the museum will observe Juneteenth with the Juneteenth 161 Fest, located in Houston's historic Freedmen's Town. This event, featuring ID cards and a scavenger hunt to explore family stories, contributes to the cultural programming of the month. CAMH also plans art-making workshops on select Saturdays from 1-4PM.
