Claude Monet, Nymphéas (1907) sold for $45.48m, more than the low estimate at Christie's in New York on November 17.

The sale beat the previous auction result for this work by $43.84m, equivalent to an annualized return of 8%. It last sold at auction in 1985 for $1.65m at Sotheby's.
