Charles Ray Exhibitions Open Concurrently at Matthew Marks and Jeffrey Deitch in Los Angeles

Los Angeles will host a dual exhibition of works by Charles Ray opening Saturday, April 18, 2026. Matthew Marks Gallery (1062 North Orange Grove) and Jeffrey Deitch (925 North Orange Drive) will concurrently present new and earlier sculptures by the artist.

The exhibitions will feature Ray's distinctive approach to sculpture, utilizing materials such as bronze, granite, and marble. His practice often engages with contemporary art themes and references to ancient Greek myth.

The Matthew Marks exhibition runs through June 13, 2026, operating Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Jeffrey Deitch will present its show until June 6, 2026, with gallery hours from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Tuesday through Saturday.
