Charles Antoine Coypel, The Destruction of the Palace of Armida (1737) sold for $637,600 (GBP482,600), more than one and a half times the low estimate at Christie's in London on December 2.

The sale was below the previous auction result by $124,200, realizing a 16% negative return. It last sold at auction in 2015 for $761,800 at Christie's.
