Chantal Joffe Work Sells for $57,100 to Deliver a 6% Annualized Return

Chantal Joffe, Mother and Child 4 (2006) sold for $57,100, more than one and a half times the low estimate at Phillips in New York on May 14.

The sale beat the previous auction result for this work by $31,000, equivalent to an annualized return of 6%. It last sold at auction in 2012 for $26,100 at Sotheby's.
