Celia Paul, Self-Portrait (2017) sold for $122,700 (GBP94,500), more than three times the low estimate at Christie's in London on October 17. The oil on canvas work has not been traded before.

The sale beat the artist’s previous auction record by $65,600, a 100% rise.
