Carla Accardi Work Sells for $88,900 to Deliver a 1% Annualized Return

Carla Accardi, Segni Grigi (1972) sold for $88,900, more than the low estimate at Sotheby's in New York on May 16.

The sale beat the previous auction result for this work by $17,600, equivalent to an annualized return of 1%. It last sold at auction in 2008 for $71,300 at Sotheby's.

Enamel on sicofoil, 69.8 x 74.9cm. The work has been traded twice in the past.
