The Brazilian Pavilion at the 61st International Art Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia is set to host the exhibition 'Comigo ninguém pode', featuring artists Adriana Varejão and Rosana Paulino. Organized by the Fundação Bienal de São Paulo, the presentation will be located in the Giardini Napoleonici di Castello and will be on view from May 9 to November 22, 2026.
The exhibition 'Comigo ninguém pode' will delve into themes including Brazilian culture, colonialism, spirituality, nature, memory, reconstruction, and Black feminism. Both Varejão and Paulino are recognized for their distinct practices, and the presentation will encompass works across painting, sculpture, drawing, and installation.
Support for the exhibition is provided by institutions such as the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Government of the State of São Paulo, and the Municipal Department of Culture of São Paulo. Corporate backing includes Itaú and Petrobras.
