Bonhams will host its spring art sale series on May 20 and 21, 2026, at its 111 West 57th Street location in New York. The auctions will feature a range of works across key collecting categories, including the 20th & 21st Century Art Evening Sale, the Post-War & Contemporary Art sale, and the Impressionist & Modern Art sale.
A notable highlight for the 20th & 21st Century Art Evening Sale is a fresh-to-market work by Yoshitomo Nara. The broader sales will include significant pieces by artists such as Constantin Brancusi, René Magritte, John Chamberlain, Banksy, Olga de Amaral, Ed Ruscha, James Rosenquist, Larry Rivers, Sol LeWitt, Alex Katz, Roy Lichtenstein, Fernando Botero, and Bob Thompson.
The Impressionist & Modern Art sale will present works by masters including Paul Gauguin, Camille Pissarro, Pierre Bonnard, Fernand Léger, Bernard Buffet, Edgar Degas, and Édouard Vuillard. Additionally, the auction house will present "A Lasting Impression: The Renoir Collection of Gabrielle Renard," a dedicated single-owner sale focusing on works by Pierre-Auguste Renoir.
