Bonhams has announced its upcoming American Art sale, scheduled for April 23, 2026, at its 111 West 57th Street location in New York. The sale will be preceded by a public exhibition of works from April 13 to 23. Running alongside the auction exhibition will be 'Embracing Elegance: Selections from the Huber Family Collection', a dedicated private selling exhibition.

The sale will feature a broad spectrum of works spanning the American canon, including pieces representing Tonalism, Impressionism, Regionalism, Modernist, and Postwar styles. Notable artists whose works are anticipated include Thomas Wilmer Dewing, Edward Henry Potthast, Norman Rockwell, LeRoy Neiman, Bob Ross, Robert Spencer, Thomas Hart Benton, John Sloan, Joseph Rodefer DeCamp, and John Singer Sargent. The offerings will encompass diverse mediums such as paintings and a painted screen, with thematic concentrations including pastoral landscapes, poetic still lifes, and introspective depictions of women, alongside examples of the Wet-on-Wet Technique.

The 'Embracing Elegance' exhibition offers a curated selection of works from the Huber Family Collection, presented as a private selling event for collectors.
