A work by Lang Shining was the headline sale at Bonhams 'Fine Chinese Paintings' auction on April 29 in Hong Kong.


The star lot was: Lang Shining, Immortal Blossoms and Everlasting Spring (Undated), which sold for $982,700, 90% above its $515,600 low estimate.

The outperformer sold for 1308% above its low estimate. Zhao Zhichen, An Inscribed 'Qingtian' Stone Seal (1811), sold for $18,100 ($1,289 low estimate).
