Bernard Buffet Work Sells for $291,900 to Deliver a 7% Annualized Return

Bernard Buffet, Tête de clown fond jaune (1999), sold for $291,900 (HKD2.29m), more than the low estimate at Christie's in Hong Kong on March 28.

The sale beat the previous auction result for this work by $186,000, equivalent to an annualized return of 7%. It last sold at auction in 2011 for $105,900 at Tajan.
