Berggruen Arts & Culture Unveils 2026 Venice Biennale Program at Palazzo Diedo

Berggruen Arts & Culture is set to launch its program at Palazzo Diedo, Fondamenta Diedo Cannaregio 2386, coinciding with the opening week of the Venice Biennale 2026. The opening events are scheduled from Monday 4 May 2026 to Saturday 9 May 2026, with the associated exhibitions continuing until 22 November 2026.

The initiative includes two exhibitions, a series of lectures, and live performances. The program focuses on contemporary art, digital art, and conceptual art, exploring themes such as artificial intelligence, protocol art, and the avant-garde. Works presented will span various mediums, including video, photography, sound art, readymades, sculptural works, and digital art.

A roster of artists and contributors will participate, including Ceal Floyer, Sougwen Chung, Kelsey Lu, Mat Dryhurst, Holly Herndon, Hans Ulrich Obrist, Adriana Rispoli, Ann Gallagher, Jonathan Watkins, Mark Alizart, Lorenzo Marsili, Joshua Citarella, Agnieszka Kurant, Fabien Giraud, Trevor Paglen, Simon Denny, Ayoung Kim, Primavera De Filippi, Lorenzo Senni, Terra0, Lawrence Abu Hamdan, and Alexander Kluge. Nicolas Berggruen’s foundation organizes the program, engaging with partners such as Bolton & Quinn and Marsilio Arte.
