Auguste Herbin, Métairie à Nogarède (1913) sold for $352,400 (EUR315,000), more than twice the low estimate at Christie's in Paris on April 10.

The sale beat the previous auction result for this work by $340,500, equivalent to an annualized return of 6%. It last sold at auction in 1972 for $11,900 at Loudmer.
