Auguste Herbin Work Sells for $35,700 to Deliver a 4% Annualized Return

Auguste Herbin, Composition symétrique (1921) sold for $35,700 (EUR32,800), more than the low estimate at Christie's in Paris on April 8.

The sale beat the previous auction result for this work by $26,000, equivalent to an annualized return of 4%. It last sold at auction in 1994 for $9,712 at Chayette & Calmels.
