Victor Servranckx, Opus 8, Construction mécanique ou L’Usine de papiers peints (1922) sold for $437,600, more than four times the low estimate at Christie's in Paris on April 10. The oil on canvas work has been traded twice in the past.

The sale beat the artist’s previous auction record by $117,700, a 36% rise.

The previous record was set by opus 9 - 1927 (1927), which sold for $319,900 at Kunsthaus Lempertz on January 12, 2017. The work had been traded once in the past.
