Titian, The Rest on the Flight into Egypt (Undated) sold for $22.18m, more than the low estimate at Christie's in London on July 2. The oil on canvas, laid on panel work has been traded 7 times in the past.

The sale beat the artist’s previous auction record by $5.3m, a 31% rise.
