Theodore Ereira-Guyer, Somewhere in Africa (mountains) (2018) sold for $110,600, more than 12 times the low estimate at Phillips on April 24. The etching on paper laid down on linen work has not been traded before.

The sale beat the artist’s previous auction record by $9,950, a 9% rise.
