Auction Record Set For Renee Sintenis

Renee Sintenis, Große Daphne (1930) sold for $631,700, more than two and a half times the low estimate at Ketterer Kunst in Munich on June 7. The Bronze with black-brown patina work has been traded once in the past.

The sale beat the artist’s previous auction record by $77,500, a 13% rise.

The previous record was set by Große Daphne (1930), which sold for $554,200 at Grisebach on November 30, 2023. The work had not been traded before.
