Mehdi Ghadyanloo, Memories of the Future (2021) sold for $324,000 (HKD2.52m), more than three times the low estimate at Christie's in Hong Kong on September 26. The acrylic and oil on canvas work has been traded once in the past.
The sale beat the artist’s previous auction record by $116,900, a 56% rise.
