Ludwig Kasper, Stehendes Mädchen. 1931/32 (1931) sold for $35,700, more than two and a half times the low estimate at Grisebach in Berlin on May 31. The Bronze with greenish patina work has not been traded before.
The sale beat the artist’s previous auction record by $4,913, a 15% rise.
