Auction Record Set For Dan Christensen

Dan Christensen, Capella (1969) sold for $72,000, more than twice the low estimate at Sotheby's, Online on September 30. The acrylic on canvas work has been traded twice in the past.

The sale beat the artist’s previous auction record by $19,100, a 36% rise.
