Cosima von Bonin, Can Cry at Will (2007) sold for $130,200, more than three times the low estimate at Kunsthaus Lempertz in Cologne on June 4. The Cotton, silk, felt and fleece on canvas work has not been traded before.
The sale beat the artist’s previous auction record by $59,100, a 83% rise.
