Bisa Butler, Three Kings (2018) sold for $151,200, more than three times the low estimate at Christie's in New York on October 1. The quilted and appliqued cotton, wool and chiffon work has been traded once in the past.

The sale beat the artist’s previous auction record by $76,200, a 100% rise.
