Attributed To Ren Renfa, Five Horses and Grooms (1304) sold for $324,900 (HKD2.52m), more than twice the low estimate at Christie's in Hong Kong on April 30.
The sale beat the artist’s previous auction record by $152,400, a 88% rise.
