Attributed To Lorenzo Di Niccolo Gerini, The Coronation of the Virgin (Undated) sold for $72,400 (EUR63,500), more than the low estimate at Sotheby's in Paris on June 11. The Tempera and gold ground on panel work has been traded twice in the past.
The sale beat the artist’s previous auction record by $40,100, a 100% rise.
