Singapore's Asian Civilisations Museum (ACM) opens Crosscurrents: Masterpieces of Mughal, Safavid, and Ottoman Art from the Musée du Louvre on June 19 (through January 24, 2027).

The exhibition will feature around 100 works of Islamic art from the Louvre, offering an in-depth look at interconnected artistic traditions and it will include pieces from royal collections from the 16th to 18th century.

ACM’s own collection of jewels will be show alongside works on loan from Paris to reveal how the three empires’ influence reached distant shores, including Southeast Asia.

This presentation marks a significant cultural exchange with France. Focus on these historical empires and their artistic output is expected to resonate with ACM's mission to explore the rich, multicultural artistic heritage of Asia.
