Arshile Gorky Work Sells for $152,400 But Delivers a 16% Negative Return

Arshile Gorky, Untitled (1943) sold for $152,400, more than the low estimate at Phillips in New York on May 14.

The sale was below the previous auction result by $30,100, realizing a 16% negative return. It last sold at auction in 2023 for $182,500 at Phillips.
