Thomas Dane Gallery has announced an exhibition featuring new and existing works by artist Anya Gallaccio, to be presented offsite at Gunton Park in Norfolk. The exhibition, opening Saturday, July 4, 2026, will showcase Gallaccio's engagement with monumental and ephemeral sculpture and installation art, sited within the natural environment of Gunton Park.
Gallaccio's practice frequently explores themes of permanence, decay, ecology, and the passage of time. The works presented are expected to incorporate mediums such as silver leaf, floral wool carpet, oak tree trunks, and bronze sculpture, alongside glass flower press works. This new presentation continues the artist's exploration of material transformation and natural processes.
The exhibition is set within the historic grounds of Gunton Park, which has previously collaborated with institutions like the Mount Stuart Trust. Gallaccio's work has been exhibited internationally at venues including Turner Contemporary, Jupiter Artland, Crystal Bridges, The Contemporary Austin, The Whitworth, Yorkshire Sculpture Park, Tate Britain, Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego, Camden Arts Centre, Sculpture Center, and National Galleries Scotland, among others.
