Anton Kern Gallery and Regen Projects are set to co-present an exhibition of new paintings by artist Aliza Nisenbaum at EXPO Chicago 2026. The joint presentation will take place from April 9 to April 12, 2026, at Navy Pier Festival Hall, Stand 403. Nisenbaum's work, which often explores portraiture and community engagement through oil on linen, will be featured.

Concurrent with the fair, the galleries will also host a panel discussion at the Obama Presidential Center. This event will delve into themes of art, public memory, and community engagement, featuring Nisenbaum alongside artists Nekisha Durrett and Norman Teague. Further participants include Virginia Shore and Naima Green.

Nisenbaum's practice extends to significant mural projects, and her contributions to the art collection at the Obama Presidential Center, including a mural, provide context for the discussion. This engagement underscores a broader conversation on the role of art within public institutions and its capacity to foster communal narratives.
