Anne Redpath Work Sells for $73,200 to Deliver a 3% Annualized Return

Anne Redpath, Begonias sold for $73,200 (GBP53,300), more than twice the low estimate at Sotheby's in London on June 26.

The sale beat the previous auction result for this work by $47,400, equivalent to an annualized return of 3%. It last sold at auction in 1991 for $25,800 at Christie's.
