Andy Warhol Work Sells for $144,100 to Deliver a 1% Annualized Return

Andy Warhol, Silvio Castelli (1980), sold for $144,100 (GBP108,800), more than the low estimate at Sotheby's in London on October 16.

The sale beat the previous auction result for this work by $21,600, equivalent to an annualized return of 1%. It last sold at auction in 2012 for $122,500 at Christie's.

Acrylic and silkscreen ink on canvas, 101.6 x 101.6cm. The work has been traded twice in the past.
