Andy Warhol Work Sells for $49,800 to Deliver a 10% Annualized Return

Andy Warhol, Sans titre (Carte de vœux de mariage pour Adrian Allen) (1956) sold for $49,800 (EUR44,100), more than the low estimate at Christie's in Paris on April 11.

The sale beat the previous auction result for this work by $48,200, equivalent to an annualized return of 10%. It last sold at auction in 1990 for $1,600 at Sotheby's.
