Andy Warhol Work Sells for $144,000 to Deliver a 4% Annualized Return

Andy Warhol, Queen Elizabeth (1977) sold for $144,000 (GBP107,900), more than twice the low estimate at Christie's in London on October 16.

The sale beat the previous auction result for this work by $109,000, equivalent to an annualized return of 4%. It last sold at auction in 1989 for $35,000 at Sotheby's.
