Andy Warhol Work Sells for $202,600 to Deliver a 7% Annualized Return

Andy Warhol, Campbell’s Soup Box (Chicken Rice) (1986) sold for $202,600 (KRW290m), more than one and a half times the low estimate at Seoul Auction in Hong Kong on October 28.

The sale beat the previous auction result for this work by $176,500, equivalent to an annualized return of 7%. It last sold at auction in 1997 for $26,100 at Sotheby's.
