Andrew Wyeth, The Corn Huskers (1944), sold for $70,300, more than the low estimate at Bonhams in New York on April 23.

The sale beat the previous auction result for this work by $14,800, equivalent to an annualized return of 1%. It last sold at auction in 2011 for $55,600 at The Coeur d`Alene Art Auction.
