Andrew Cranston will present 'I'm going in a field,' a solo exhibition of new oil paintings, at Modern Art, London. The exhibition is scheduled to run from April 17 to May 30, 2026, at the gallery’s Bennet Street location.
Cranston's latest body of work features oil paintings that delve into themes of memory and the intimacies of life. Known for his distinctive approach to painting, the works continue his engagement with art history and modernism, filtered through a contemporary lens.
The Scottish artist's work has been previously exhibited at institutions including The Holburne Museum, Hepworth Wakefield, Ingleby Gallery, and Villa Carmignac. His paintings are also held in significant collections such as the Tate, Scottish National Gallery, Art Gallery of New South Wales, ICA Miami, LACMA, and Portland Art Museum.
