Andrew Cranston, Meditation in a tenement (2023) sold for $110,500 (GBP83,800), more than the low estimate at Phillips in London on June 26. The distemper and oil on canvas work has been traded once in the past.

The sale beat the artist’s previous auction record by $29,500, a 36% rise.
