Alyina Zaidi to Present 'Rewilding' at Pilar Corrias

Artist Alyina Zaidi will present 'Rewilding,' a solo exhibition of new paintings, at Pilar Corrias from March 13 to May 23, 2026. An opening reception for the exhibition is scheduled for Thursday, March 12, from 6–8pm.

Zaidi's work for 'Rewilding' features surreal landscapes, which draw inspiration from themes of memory and myth. Her practice incorporates influences from post-independence Indian art and folkloric fables.

The paintings also reflect a synthesis of diverse artistic traditions, including Persian miniature painting, South Asian miniature painting, Byzantine art, and Sienese artistic traditions, contributing to her distinctive approach to the medium.
