Alfred Sisley, Le Pont de Sèvres en fin de journée, au fond l’église de Saint-Cloud (1877) sold for $655,600 (GBP482,600), more than the low estimate at Sotheby's in London on June 24.

The sale was below the previous auction result by $644,400, realizing a 49% negative return. It last sold at auction in 2000 for $1.3m at Christie's.

Oil on canvas, 50.0 x 60.0cm. The work has been traded 13 times in the past.
