Alfred Kubin Work Sells for $44,800 to Deliver a 1% Annualized Return

Alfred Kubin, Der Bräutigam (1905), sold for $44,800 (EUR38,100), more than the low estimate at Christie's in Paris on April 15.

The sale beat the previous auction result for this work by $17,300, equivalent to an annualized return of 1%. It last sold at auction in 1987 for $27,500 at Sotheby's.
