Alexander Calder, Untitled (1953), sold for $134,400 (EUR114,300), more than twice the low estimate at Piasa in Paris on May 12.
The sale was below the previous auction result by $48,600, realizing a 26% negative return. It last sold at auction in 2021 for $183,000 at Christie's.
