Alberto Giacometti Work Sells for $82,500 to Deliver a 13% Annualized Return

Alberto Giacometti, Tête d’un homme (Professeur Corbetta) (1963) sold for $82,500, more than twice the low estimate at Sotheby's in New York on May 14.

The sale beat the previous auction result for this work by $32,100, equivalent to an annualized return of 13%. It last sold at auction in 2021 for $50,400 at Sotheby's.
