Ahmed Mater Work Returns to Auction

Ahmed Mater, Illumination XIX & XX, is due to be sold at Christie's in London on June 16, 2026 with a $53,800 (GBP40,000) to $80,700 estimate.

It last sold at auction in 2016 for $27,600 at Sotheby's. The current low estimate is 142% higher than its previous low estimate of $22,200.
