Affandi Work Sells for $440,500 to Deliver a 2% Annualized Return

Affandi, Skiing 滑雪 (1954) sold for $440,500 (HKD3.43m), more than twice the low estimate at Sotheby's in Hong Kong on March 29.

The sale beat the previous auction result for this work by $121,300, equivalent to an annualized return of 2%. It last sold at auction in 2013 for $319,300 at 33 Auction.
